Services
What I do
Three things, and they overlap more than they look. Most jobs start as one and touch the others.
01
IT Consulting & Support
Endpoint support, network administration and security hardening — for the systems your business actually runs on.
What it covers
- Workstation and server setup, imaging and repair
- Network design, wiring, firewalls and remote access
- Security hardening, patching and backup strategy
- Active Directory, user onboarding and offboarding
- On-call troubleshooting when something breaks
Typical jobs
- Standing up a new office network end to end
- Taking over IT for a business that has been getting by on a friend-of-a-friend
- Cleaning up after a ransomware scare and closing the gaps that let it in
02
Full Stack Web Development
Fast, accessible sites for businesses that need to be found and taken seriously.
What it covers
- Business sites built to load fast and work on a phone
- Domains, DNS, email and hosting set up properly
- Contact forms and booking that actually reach you
- Search basics so you turn up when someone looks
- Security headers, backups and HTTPS done right
Typical jobs
- Replacing a page builder site that took eight seconds to load
- Getting a business off a free subdomain and onto its own
- A site a customer can scan from a business card and act on
03
AI Solutions
Practical AI applied where it removes real work — not a chatbot bolted onto a website.
What it covers
- Support ticket triage, categorisation and routing
- Document and invoice handling that currently gets retyped
- Internal search across the files and notes your team already has
- Drafting and summarising work that eats afternoons
- Honest assessment of where AI will not help
Typical jobs
- Routing inbound tickets to the right person automatically
- Turning a shared drive nobody can search into something answerable
- Summarising long vendor documents into the parts that matter
04
Automation
Scripted workflows that delete the recurring manual tasks nobody should still be doing.
What it covers
- PowerShell and Python scripting for repeatable tasks
- Ansible playbooks for consistent, repeatable provisioning
- Scheduled reporting and reconciliation
- Onboarding and offboarding runbooks that execute themselves
- Monitoring and alerting so problems surface before users call
Typical jobs
- A monthly report that took an afternoon now runs on a schedule
- New-hire setup reduced to one command instead of a checklist
- Nightly checks that catch failures before the morning
Who this is for
- Small businesses with no full-time IT staff
- Teams losing hours a week to manual, repetitive work
- Owners who have been told they need AI and want a straight answer about where it actually helps
- Offices that have outgrown whoever has been handling IT so far
How it works
- Step 1
Talk it through
A short call to understand what is breaking, what it is costing you, and whether I am the right person for it. No charge, no obligation.
- Step 2
Assess
I look at what you actually have — systems, workflows, the steps people repeat by hand — and come back with what I would do and what it involves.
- Step 3
Build
The work itself, with progress you can see. Fixed scope where the job allows it, so there are no surprises on the invoice.
- Step 4
Hand over
Documentation in plain language, so your team can run it without me. Ongoing support if you want it, not because you are locked in.
Common questions
Do you work remotely or on site?
Both. Most support, automation and AI work can be done remotely. Anything involving hardware, wiring or a physical network usually needs me there in person.
What size businesses do you work with?
Small teams, typically without a full-time IT department. Big enough that the technology matters, small enough that nobody has time to own it.
How do you charge?
Hourly for support and troubleshooting. Fixed price for defined projects, so you know the cost before the work starts. Ongoing support is available on a monthly basis where it makes sense.
Do you take one-off jobs, or only ongoing work?
Both. Plenty of engagements are a single problem solved once. If it turns into something ongoing, that is a decision you make after the first job, not before it.
What does "AI solutions" actually mean here?
Applying AI to specific work that is currently done by hand — sorting tickets, reading documents, searching internal files. If AI is not the right tool for your problem, I will tell you that rather than sell it to you.
How do we start?
Send an email describing what is going wrong. If it is something I can help with, the next step is a short call to scope it. If it is not, I will say so and point you somewhere better.
